(20639) Michellouie is an asteroid discovered on 4 October 1999 by MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) program.
It was named for Michelle Louie (b. 1986) who was awarded second place in the 2004 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for her botany project. She attends the Kings Park High School, Kings Park, New York, U.S.A.
